Have to work all weekend.  Next day off isn't until 12/22

Got about 10" of snow. Was a fun drive home last night.

Chaining up the van and heading to work.  Not happy.

Looks like Jack shet.

Did some Rameys Carne on the Blackstone last night.  Sucks on a flat top.  Lost a ton of flavor and juicieness.  Stick to coal or propane.

Oldest daughter got into a wreck on Wednesday.   She's OK but car is a total loss.  Hoping insurance covers what we had into it.  Other driver at fault.

Should be back in action soon...trans seal leak turned into needing R&P, seals, shaft, and misc bearings.  Moved up to a stage 3 clutch too...$$ of course, but it looks to have been the first time the trans was apart since early 2000's? - hoping it lasts me a long time.

Nice, we finally got enough snow (Saint Anthony ID.) to bust out the snow machines, been an odd winter so far.

Going to do the Mesa Falls loop tomorrow.

That would stop my whole city in its tracks. Some of us would have 4 wheel drive and know how to use it w/chains but the rest of em would try to leave for work in their normal vehicles and clog that up tight. Is that a deer along the top of the road by the big left tree?

We went to Las Vegas for our family Christmas get together. The rodeo is in town   Everyone have a great and safe weekend.

Well I got an early start.  Replaced the guts in the bbq last night only to find the ignitor was also dead, so waiting for rhat to show up to finish it off.  Went out for burritos with my BIL last night.  It's nice to hang out with him.  He's a good guy.  We don't have a lot in common,  but we got family and its interesting to hear what they are up to.  

Today, finish the BBQ, clean up the Christmas stuff in the garage.  Work on the truck a bit.   Get my suitcase and cold weather closes out.  Today is the 1 year anniversary of my moms death.  Not sure what to do with that... 

Sunday, church, pack for my trip to south Denver and get my flight to Denver.

Wife and daughter (only child still at home) are going to an overnight birthday for my wife's/daughter's friend who turned 18. I have absolutely nothing on the schedule. Probably will take the dog for a long walk.

Oh.. and I did the dishes.

Weighed the toy hauler and found out I was overloading the stock hitch on tongue weight. Upgraded to a way overkill 2.5” receiver and new weight distribution hitch. 

Taking the husky out to buttercup for the day tomorrow.

Built the railing on the bridge at the Dream Home. Cleaned out the Garage for possible new rig. Hung some pics in the garage. Headed to Main St in Grapevine. Have some Sea Food at Big Fish..........Great hole in the wall BTW. Excellent Food. MIGHT..................Just MAYBE pull the trigger tomorrow. Peace
