It's Saturday Dec 7th 2024.. What is everyone doing this weekend?

Life changes ahead, quality of life made a turn on us and we are heading in new directions.

Never get comfortable is the lesson here.

My daughter has been in ICU since last Sunday, had flu and pneumonia from aspiration cause she has medical issues. Been intubated and on ventilation all week, tried to go back to normal and she couldn't handle breathing on her own. Stuck at the local community hospital until UC Irvine Medical Center can transfer her on Monday morning. We'll get a better assessment of her path to recovery there.

If she has to get a tracheostomy, allot will.chanhe for us, but her life will be better is the thought.

Prayers are appreciated.

Prayers Sent from TX my brother. Stay Strong. Peace

Just finished up replacing the Alternator on that 600 HP Cummins Engine. If we had the right tools we'd have finished in 2 hrs. The pulley wouldn't come off the old alternator. Tried many different ways to remove it. Went to Auto Zone after NAPA and O'Reilly's didn't have the proper tool. Loaner tool. Removed it in 5 mins. Installed the new Alternator and dropped a bolt down in the engine. Took Hrs to find that dude. Had to go back to Auto Zone (Return Puller) and buy a couple magnets to get the bolt out of his tiny little place. (Ever been there?) After all that, Fired everything up, works great. Ready for another trip. As the say "RV" stands for Repair Vehicle. Peace

Ooh, I did something else. I paired the phone to the whip lights so I can make 'em do all kinds of dumb shit. I'm setting seizure mode for the next trip.

I went Grocery shopping and Gassed up the Car and then started chainsawing and splitting more wood with an ax.. Then brought out my little chainsaw and trimmed the tree in the front yard.. Its almost like I am the only one that lives at this House.. 'almost" o'well when ya got to split and stack wood its like its twice heating wood. Get Heated up doing the work then heated up burning it.

Also went grocery shopping a few days ago at Smiths in Lake Havasu.
Got a couple loaves of bread and a few drinks with friends. What a concept to actually have a bar in a grocery store.

I love telling people we have a bar in our grocery store...lol

How long you in Havasu for? Been living here full-time now for 4 years. Let me know when you come through and see if we can catch up.
