Its Saturday August 12th 2023.. What is everyone up too this weekend?

Cleaned the camper today. Tons of dead bugs and other things after 5931 mile drive this summer. Took 2 hours to clean just the front and wall behind cab.

Worked out.

Shopped online for some clothes and accessories.

UFC and boxing.

Helped wife pack son’s clothes that don’t fit him for shipping to families in Dallas.

Dropped off toys and car seats at free donation center.

Park, hiking, swimming with the fam.

Now winding down with the kiddo while watching the WSOP.

Soon, put him to bed and read to him until he falls asleep.

….next week is a big week.  Will know whether I landed an EVP position with a new company.

Rebuilding an alternator. The cruise and shooting looked like a lot more fun.

Hate to sell it. Been a great car for the last 12 years. Seems like yesterday that I flew to Ohio to buy it new and drive it back to Colorado.

When you get attached to a vehicle it's almost impossible to get rid of. I feel the same way! Peace

Friday and Saturday  were Funeral services for a friend, COVID-19 got him, fought Cancer for last 5 years and C-19 took him out.

Best friends since Highschool a d ever since he has been a part of my life to various degrees.

He was the guy you called to bury bodies, he never blinked or asked why..just when.

Summer Night ride trips in the 90s were epic, there was no reason to do them afyer that group stopped.

Lifetime of insane stories and incredible journeys together and with our circle.

This one hurts, Rest in Peace D.

That's the Plowmando. 73 Jeepster Commando.  304 auto. It's been a plow truck since the early 80s. I rescued it from going to the junk yard 4 or so years ago. Interior is 100% original and in killer complete shape. The body is pretty much hammered.

Considering cutting it up and building it into a summer crawler, winter Plowmando.

My 68 I sold 5 years ago.Resized_20170529_194231.jpg20190125_124940.jpg
