It's Saturday 9-4-21 What are you dong this Labor Day weekend?

Spent the day working. First helped son cut up and remove a fallen tree from a storm last week. Then off to try and fix grandsons kx60 bike. Spent the day chasing a low inconsistent spark issue, hate these things. 

 
I’m outfitting the inside of my latest trailer with e-track, helmet racks, etc. Then will prep cars and load them for our dunes trip next weekend to Florence.

Converting my Norcold 1210 fridge from absorption to a 12V compressor system. Hoping for consistently cold drinks this season. 

 
Changed out trailer axle backing plates, brakes and drums to a upgraded 9/16 studs heavier duty drums, Timken bigger and better bearings, also better brakes…….pics = old ones.

The wife and I climbed iron mountain this morning

  She did great.  2:15 minutes.   Not bad for a 60 year old.  I forgot to turn the app off until I was on the 67.  It figured out we were not hiking 60 mph.  LOL. 

Wired up the repeater/booster for my tpms.  Been wanting one of.yhese for a while now. 

Finished installing the tank in the buggy for the compressor. 

All in all, not a bad day.  And it's only 1.  Plenty of time to break something...

No pics, but did a full brake job on a buddy's WJ, then fixed my high-idle (big vacuum leak) and recalibrated speedo on my WJ.

Kid raced at San Diego BMX Friday night. I Worked OT all day Saturday, re did the exhaust on my truck this morning just for fun (going from a single  driver's side exit to horizontal stacks below the rear hitch). Plan to relax at some point this afternoon and bbq some steaks by the pool.

My chick and I just hung in the pool with a few cocktails.  She may have been overserved... LOL

 
Played a tournament yesterday, played pretty well.  Played a fun round this morning, and to add that a Red Bull vodka is a great morning drink.  Won some money off the guys in our foursome today, and now watching 2nd day of the Solheim Cup, and not going to do anything for the rest of the day or night….only thing I have to do is be on the first t box tomorrow by 7:35 am…. With a fresh Red Bull vodka might I add.

Eric decided to come home and visit, which is good. replacing the serpentine belt, idler pulley, both front hubs, and both god-forsaken stabilizer links on his Ram in 110 degree heat though... I'm toast, done for the day! It's A/C and Gin & Tonics from this point forward. 

 
The old wood side gate posts were falling down. Put in new metal posts and took the chance to widen it to 12ft for the trailer. 
 

Today bought a new money pit. Not the cleanest but she seems to run strong.

The wife drug me to Coronado for the last concert in the Park for the year....  WOW there are a lot of folks here.  

Sucks that all I can think is that there are a lot of potential casualties for some schmuck with a specific religious bent.... (9/11 around the corner)

Cranked out 71 miles in the rzr today.  New area I've never been to.  Badger Flats outside of Lake George Co. West of Colorado Springs. 

Bitchen high speed trails. Lots of bermed out trails and water bars.. Not to rocky so it will be perfect for the kids quads.  Found some sweet  spots to camp next season.
