It's Saturday 9-24-22 What are you doing this weekend?

Went to HB for a bike ride to the wedge and back.   Stopped at Blackies in Newport and had more than my fair share.   Got home and grilled up some kabobs.  Not much for pics but here's one from the wedge.

The wife and I decided to go to a high school reunion. It was originally for my moms class ( 72’ ) but they decided to open it to all classes because of the small turnout. By the list of people that had passed away from her graduating class it made sense. Well needless to say there was nobody from my class ( 94’ ) or any year remotely near mine! Still had fun and got to hang out with some family.

 
My buddy called me at 7pm last night to help get an elk out from his muzzleloading hunt in Payson, AZ. This was their second one of the day.  Lucky it was just over an hour away from the house. Got home at 330 am.

I stopped by the Pier over in Santa Monica this morning.

It seems the "Motorcycle Cannonball" was to arrive around noon. Bikes were from 1930 to 1960.

And arrive they did. Mileage is only 2,330, and from Resume Speed Illinois, to the end of the trail (Route 66)
