i love that Dishpan Springs trail from Arrowhead to Big Bear... only way to get from one to the other off road....

 
Flew into Portland and rode another Harley home. Too much rain so the ride sucked.

 
I learned something today....  Slippery glitter is actually a gel.  

The more you know........ roflol 

And yes I live a pretty sheltered life.  LOL

Played 3 day golf tourney. Tied for first place. Lost in the scorecard playoff. Doing underground pipe at the Dream Home. Catching all that rain water off the house and channeling to the pond. 6" pipe. Peace

Weekend went very well - We go back in Aug. for the Final Invite Only Tryout in Attleboro, Massachusetts for their Top Team. Coach already told him the spot is his, he just needs to prove himself against the returning players that weekend and sign paperwork.

It was the perfect sequel to Top Gun. Full of cheesy one liners,  full of pretty amazing aerobatics, a story with so many plot holes that you could literally fly a cruise missile thru. Lots of good nostalgic call backs.  The perfect way to spend a saturday afternoon.

And don't tell me when Danger Zone came cranking thru the speakers you didn't smile just a little........

Favorite part of the movie for me, at least the part that made me :lol:   was when "Hangman" was doing his best Tom Cruise imitation, Reminded me of Alec Baldwin doing his best Sean Connery during Hunt for Red October.

What did you expect?

I'm not being a smart ass, just curious what you did expect. I haven't seen it yet. I'm hoping to see some incredible flying footage, other than that I'm not sure what else will be in it. Probably some love story, lots of references to the first movie, etc. I'm looking forward to seeing it.

The gal and I saw it on Friday.  It was better than I expected.  The "in cockpit" footage of Tom was pretty good.  It was also good to see Val in it.
