It's Saturday 6-29-2024.. What is everyones weekend plans?

So here it is the last Saturday of June. This Year is Half over so what are your plans this weekend?

Nothing exciting here for me. Got to get the the grocery store and all that not fun stuff so I hope your weekend is going to be more gooder than mine.. Y'all have a Blessed weekend

 
Supposed to go to Corral Canyon to crawl RCs up Bronco Peak.  Wife might bow out due to heat.  We'll see...

New fiscal year starts Monday.  Little raise and boot vouchers so that's cool.

 
Woke up to the wifes car dead. Took out the "SURE START" battery and replaced it. False Advertising. Lasted 3yrs 3mos. Got Five Guys in the backyard pounding the final retaining walls. Stairways will need to get framed and poured after completion. Clean up around the house. Going to throw a pool party on the 4th of July. Our yearly fireworks out our front yard had to be moved due to Biblical Rains we've had the last 3 mos. Lake is not accessible. Now it's time for 100+ degrees for the next 3 mos. No complaints here. Move to San Diego if you don't like Heat and Humidity. Been hammering all week so minimal action this weekend. Peace

 
Boring weekend planned.   Chores, visit abuela, 4th of July celebration out at shadow mountain church.   They do it up big every year.  Fireworks,  honoring veterans,  etc.  Good time!  Lunch with some former workmates on Sunday.   

The best part has to be the chores....  LOL

Took the dogs to the dog park, washed and treated my truck.  Drug out more parts to start putting my fuel system back in my car.  

Cleaning house and such for guests this next week.

Probably finish up the days in the pool enjoying life.

 
Picked up a new “lol” toy to get the kids deeper in to dune riding on their quads (tough to do in the rail) and night rides. Making a list of “what does it need to make it mine”. At this point needs nothing, but that’s no fun!!

Had to fix some trim in the 5er and sat down to watch Motocross but no replay seems to be available on Peacock :(

Washed my truck and took the boat out to San V... Apparently I can bring my dog...it's illegal for them to ask if it's a service dog.  I figured, f it - if they give me a ticket or send me home oh well.  Two rangers watched us load and unload him - and multiple people working at the lake.

You can’t bring your dog on your boat on a lake somewhere??  What country is that??

The peoples republic of California of course. They call it a reservoir and say you can't even go swimming. But for a few extra bucks you can water ski in which case yes, you can get in the water. My buddy took his dog out last year and thought he was going to get hassled. I'll let him know about the service dog loophole.
