Its Saturday 10-8-22 Whats Up??

Put in a little work on the buggy.  Big day tomorrow, ripping out the trans and sending it off.  Most likely starting the full teardown and rebuild.  The list is long for this.  Probably out this season but we shall see.

Still RV shopping and planning the RV barn.  projects, projects, projects.

 
Watching the Padres lose to the Mets right now, most likely going to game three tomorrow if they do. Got the new washing machine running, bogey neutered, grocery shopping, now beer 30. Wait, that started a few hours ago.

Gave a couple bags Of the red stuff…wife’s in Cabo for a wedding.. just chillin’… put up more cameras tomorrow

Played in a 2-day Golf Tourney with JB. Took the motorhome to the course for a pre-run if you will. The A/C thermostat shows the temp at 124 in the coach. FROZE our balls off the first night. That'll need some fixin! Peace

 
Ended up in Boise for a wedding and while out exploring came across this neat monument in Emmett Idaho just north of Boise. I sent these picks off to a Navy buddy of mine that served on the Enterprise as a fire chief in the 90s.

Boys were off to another hockey weekend, Bakersfield and Dallas, TX.

I stayed home with my girls, took them to breakfast, shopping and watching movies they liked.

Wife and youngest come home from Dallas tonight.

Back to the grind after a nice weekend at home.

My Grandfather was a torpedo plane pilot on the Enterprise WWII. His brother flew the F4F attack plane off the Yorktown. On my Grandpa's first sorte, they lost 2 planes (crews of 3) including their CO. My great uncle on his last sorte off the Yorktown was shot down and became a prisoner of war in Japan for 16 months, tortured, etc.

@ANGRYBUTTCRACK that’s awesome history, my Grandfather was a B-26 pilot served in both the Pacific and Europe theaters, it’s pretty much how I ended up as a Zonie. My pops served in Mountain Home ID during Vietnam as an ordnance loader for B47s in the SAC. I miss being around and talking to folks from the greatest generation.
