What did I do today..

Well, I thought of getting a haircut, but decided to

drink instead.

I binge watched The Blues Brothers again, and now I'm binging on "Lonesome Dove". (Worth the time)

I stopped by Paul's Photo to pick up a Photo Book I had printed.

Excellent quality. 

Tomorrow, the Long Beach Cycle show.

Monday, back to Paul's to order some more books.

(After I sort through 4 TB of pictures)

Packing up to head home from UTV Takeover in Sand Holllow UTAH.. It was a ton of fun.. Met many more great peeps!!

weather was great, till the wind picked up today.. by mid morning it was  pretty nasty… Parts of the  long jump competition were near brownout from blowing sand. Our son Tyler ended up around 7-8th place in the Short Course event out of about 90+ cars in our  stock Pro R with molded paddles &  normal recreational riding shock setup.

Went to Laughlin for the Best In The Desert to pit for my Nephew and some friends. My nephew got 1st in the 570 but lost the motor in the RS1. Helped pit today. Terrible accident out there today. A life was lost. 

 
Worked on my Halloween decorations and went to the pumpkin patch with the family. This is the first year that we stepped up our decorations. I built several props including a pillorie and functional fog machine cannon. I have a few other items to finish this week

Played in the Mem,ber Guest Golf tourney. Tried to test my liver to it's max potential. Should have gone to the F1 race in Austin. Layed on the couch all day sunday recoop! Peace

Motorcycle show was about a 50% bust.

Many vendors missing in action. I did find a "Rust Bucket" Minibike, full suspension,rims tires, disc brakes, and some rust. Did I mention there was a little rust? But, for $40.00, it fell into the back of my car. (I still have two engines available) Pictures as soon as I find my camera rust filter..

Oh, and a Schwinn strand cruiser for $65

 
Was supposed to be a weekend test and tune but 20 mins into the ride the engine started knocking so had to limp it back to camp. Met some great peeps from the website and the car was hauling ass until the knock.

Sunday tore it all down and found the end result. Who doesn't like having a motor built at the beginning of the season.

This weekend was bot as productive as I had hoped, but kind of what I expected.   I did manage to get my CA fire permit for this upcoming season (I could not find the one I did in Jan).  

I also did a tire swap on the sand jack.  I must have pinched a tube or something.  One was leaking terribly, and one was a slow leak.  The tires were all cracked and crappy anyway.  Thanks to Jeff @Whipsandshyt for taking care of me.  If yall need a sand jack or whipsNshyte, look him up.

Just replaced the rubber on the borrowed trailer. Don't need any trailer tire issues. Peace
