In Glamis. Don’t tell anyone but the Dunes are the best in along time. Not crowded and the W has gone away. Epic riding conditions

Today I have two service calls for computer repair.
Lucky both are next door neighbors.
1) Transfer data from an older computer to the new one.
2) Clean install on the old one, configure for new owner next door.
Both are older ladies.
Tomorrow, ATM repair at Citibank.

Got word last week that new trans is done. Need to make sure car is ready to be taken up to Funco for fab and install. Smoking some baby back ribs, getting a little work done on taxes. Backyard fire pit and beer too.

Had to give away 3 quality safes when I moved outta CA. Finally started to build stock back up. $100!

The thumb on my big excavator was poorly designed and really worn. So much so it broke the piston clevis on a 3” shaft. So I’m upgrading it. Issue is the whole thing swung on this little 6” wide boss area and had no bushings. I cut off 3/4” of each side and will add a huge 3” wide boss and bushing. This will make it more stable too. Having family over Sunday for my birthday. Cooking 7lbs of salmon. Also enjoying the perfect weather outside

I am looking for a 3x3 or 4x4 from the early 1900's thats not $10,000. Old safes have the look of heavy security.

Funco Ladies Run Friday

Best dam weekend for sand conditions, worst possible weekend for vehicles. Almost every time I left camp I returned shortly after because of someone's car problems.


Finally on Saturday I did get a good run about the time the sand was crap again.

Old safes have the look of heavy security.

The look and the feel. Thick plate of steel on the door and concrete filled walls all around. I prefer the dial combo too. Digital combos do not give me a good feeling.
My Bighorn from Costco (low end, I know) feels like a tuna can.
