I've worked with a lot of people from all of these countries over the last 25 years and... he's mostly wrong.

Again, every group of people in this world has extremist groups. The one you're speaking about is highly condemned by most Israelites.
The bigger question is would you rather be judged by the Torah or by the Quran...
