Israel finally did it. Israel bombed Iran this afternoon. This is not going to end well for anyone. Iran is already saying they will seek revenge against Israel and the US over this.

Israel has been doing this for 70 years. They're just over it.I'm surprised that Israel tolerated it this long.
Sadly, the Islamist propaganda seems to make it to the rest of the world first. The entire Middle East would like nothing more than to wipe out all Jews there.

They've already been removed from nearly every other Muslim country.
No, Jordan did not formally cede the West Bank to Israel. Jordan lost control of the West Bank to Israel during the Six-Day War in 1967. Jordan formally renounced its claim to the West Bank in 1988, but this was not a cession of territory to Israel, according to the Arab Center Washington DC and Foreign Policy. Instead, Jordan recognized the West Bank as Palestinian territory and allowed the PLO to assume responsibility for the area.
I agree with most of this, but this is not two countries throwing missiles back and forth. Iran is lobbing missiles hoping they make it through and actually hit something while Israel is using their air assets to hit precise targets hard, and with outstanding results so far. They have taken out a good share of the Iranian military leadership, but none of the civilian leadership....yet. They have also targeted Iran's military industry and nuclear assets.Lots of interesting things going on but the start of WWIII isn't one of those. Both Isreal and Iran cannot invade or hold eithers lands, they simply do not have the ability to do so. Th only time Iran's Air Force takes off in the next few weeks is to get assets out of theater, so they are not destroyed. This will just be two countries throwing missiles back and forth until they get tired or run out. There will not be an invasion by either side.
Next strange thing is I saw that last nights attack was on an almost full moon instead of a better suited new moon or at least a lot smaller moon. Meaning that Iran must have been planning on something in the next few days that Isreal didn't want them to do and they were not going to wait the two weeks for better nighttime conditions.
Not only did the Israelis know where to hit, they knew where people who they wanted to hit were. So the next month or so Iran will be executing lots of potential spies making nobody in Iran feel warm and safe in the job they have let alone some of the second in charge folks not wanting to wake up to an air raid siren with a F-35 delivering a see you in hell bunker busting bomb.
