The company I work for builds a custom mobile peice of equipment that gets sided with honeycomb fiberglass walls. We have had the same company do this for us for nearly 20 years. This last go around the lead time has gotten to the point of almost being unacceptable. We were told it would be 3 weeks. By the time they are actually going to start on it will have been in their possession for a month.
My boss want's to find a new company. Being that the company that we currently use's main line up is custom car haulers, a trailer cmopany is probably still our best bet.. https://www.jimglo.com/about-us
Figured I'd try asking around here for someone else. There always seems to be a higher end stacker or something being built. So, references would be much appreciated.
We build the chassis in house. Assemble, plum, wire, etc.. The pic below is the machine. The body/trailer company would install all the yellow paneling and the aluminum trim work on the boarders, and the bright metal along the bottom. As well as some minimal marker/brake lights.
Any help is much appreciated.
