Well with the Heat and Gas prices is your season over?

For me YES.. Mine wasn't much of a season to speak of actually because Life just got in the way and I was ovethinking stuff way too much so Vets I got to ride and Feb and March were Day trips just in my car. I live in the HD so hopefully some short rides from the driveway will be on but as far as Glamis I am done till Nov "Vets weekend".. Hopefully be some miracle Fuel won't be as much but I will start saving now I guess

heat ruined it for me, no interest in going if its >80

fuel prices dont bother me, its a necessary evil. Im lucky to have a company truck and gas card, if i have to spend some dough on diesel for fun im good with it.

Moving slowed us down this Spring but plan to go out mid/late April.
110°+ is my limit. Hope to do 2-3 summer trips.

My Annual Boyz Trip is this weekend and my immediate group has decided we're gonna pass! 107 in Glamis doesn't sound fun.
However...we are headed to the Valley of Fire tomorrow, still gonna be upper 90's, low 100's. BUT, we can take trails to the Virgin River or Lake Mead where we can plop our butts in the water!
I need a break from work BIG TIME!!! so I'm good with it.
Bummed to miss our trip, but 100+ in G, is no bueno.

Only made five three day trips this season. My surgery cut the season by three ride dates. We had one more trip planned until the heat went to the hot side. I don’t think I will make one more trip even if weather would cool off because I have all the toys put away for the summer.

Looking to make one or more trips depending upon weather.

Nope, simply didn't go enough, will go whenever possible for short quick trips when the weather is nice enough.

Post up when y'all going 🍻

Not just yet. The heat chased me out for now. Biggest issue is it not cooling off enough at night. I can handle the heat during the day but if I have to run the AC at night to sleep I'm out. Hopefully April cools down and I can get another ~10 nights or so in.

I am out. Unless there is a cold breeze coming through in April to change my mind.

We will be heading out May - September to avoid the crowds of retards that Glamis now seems to attract on a regular basis. I'd rather deal with the heat than the people that are currently there.

My daughter wakes up early like I do so letting her hit the smooth stuff around Gecko in the morning on her 50 is what those trips will be for. Take a nap during the day or run her to the Palo Verde or Pichaco to play in the River.
