Many years ago, (I hear that a lot) my neighbor offered me a ride to the Indy 500, private jet, pit passes,
and VIP access to the garage and sponsor food tent..
My neighbor was the jet pilot for Penske racing. He offered all the above "perks".
I had my bag packed and was actually quit excited.
In all fairness, I did not flirt with his sister.
As luck would have it, Penske was offering a new engine in his race car, and decided
to close the window of "Outsiders" having any knowledge of his plans.
So, sad to say, I was not on that jet to Indy that year.
Even sadder, I never did shag his sister.
