I hope this isnt true!!! Just read Devin from the GD store passed.

God bless...Rest in Peace. Sent many hours talking with him setting at the tables outside the store while I had my daily Ice Cream. You will be missed.

Always giving helpful information to visitors to the dunes or just passing thru.

"HJ" :ex:       :cheers:

Devin, To say that you will be missed is a massive massive massive understatement as you can see by the many posts all around the Internet. Hope we can ride again in the future. There has to be a Glamis Version in heaven. Missing you lots Brother.

Since my very first trip to Glamis and my joining this site, Devin has been a part of each and every moment. I didn't have the relationship as some of you have had with Devin but I always stopped and said hello and ask how he was doing. Devin was always smiling and happy to oblige, regardless of him stocking a shelf, sitting at the bench with friends or helping with a GD event.  I will miss him and feel terrible for his family and friends at home and at the dunes.

Rest In Peace Devin.

You are missed.

I'm pretty speechless I'm sure like many others... 💔

Sending all my love and prayers to Jeanne who will need all the prayers us warriors can give at this time. 🙏

We need to organize a memorial dune run.

Oh and we all have to wear crocs....

Those who know.......lol
We had a ride planed for this weekend with Dev. We canceled the ride yesterday but decided today that's not what he would have wanted. So this weekend we are doing are small group first memorial ride. In future we can make them as large as we can. This weekend will be very hot and like Dev told me Tuesday evening the dunes look treacherous so we want to keep a small group. We have all ready started planes for a memorial plate to put on the swing set.

LOL on the crocs.

I first met Dev on a summertime night right with my group ...When were out there on a rip and we all noticed that we had picked up a couple of people during the ride...it wasnt til a couple days later when i had posted the ride and he messaged me telling me that was him that we pick up...Talked to him only a few times after ..but what a great guy ..RIP Dev

RideRedon3, my buddy Kevin and I will be out  this Saturday.   I was actually gonna hit up Dev to see if he was out there this weekend.

Devin was one of my very best friends. He would give a hand to any one that needed it. Almost every ride I have done in the last 11 years has been with Dev. He was a great leader in the dunes. We had many rides in the summers that it was just Devin and me and we had all of Glamis to our selves, no one else in all Glamis. I will miss my friend but I will all ways cherish the last year +. We both were off work for the pandemic so I was able to spend about 100 or so days at Glamis. Devin and I did a ton of miles and had a lot of good times. I thank God for the time we had out there, one of the best years of my life. We had a ride planed for this weekend. Its hard to be leave he is gone.

RIP my brother you will always ride with me.
i met devin about ten years ago on a summertime ride great guy awesome duner. he started calling me jersey jeff back then because he said we allready had a few jeffs you ocjeff    chiagojeff    and a few others and the name stuck RIP brother and my sincere condolences to Jeannie and family

One of the first people from GD that I met, he lived near me and we'd bump into each other (when he wasn't at Glamis, Desert, River, etc).

Guy loved to ride, loved to shoot the shit around the campfire...never heard him say a mean thing about anyone.

Wish I knew him better, wish I had followed him on some of those Epic Summer rides we all heard stories about.

Condolences to his group, I can only imagine their heartbreak. Sorry for yore loss Momma Jeanie

The 2 people I think of most who exemplify Glamis are Devin and Jeanie Boardman.

The Beach Store benches will never be the same for me.

RIP Devin, your clear love of Glamis will be sorely missed.😥

A true lover of Mother Glamis, a heart of gold, and a person you could always count on. Devin, you are a Slappy favorite, and Slap is going to miss you. Rest in peace friend, Slap will see you on the other side and we will ride those golden ripples together. ❤️

Barely knew him . He only remembered me as Kevin’s brother . My last conversation with him at the picnic tables , he took the time to enlighten me to his version of finding happiness.  Very sad news
