DEVIN!



Unbelievable and devastating news received today! Devin Adkins, of the Glamis Beach Store, passed away today, sometime during the night or morning. Absolutely no warning, no signs of poor health, just talked to him on phone last night for an hour.
Very difficult to describe our relationship and many people who were around us when we were bad mouthing each other did not understand how close we really were. Devin’s claim to be my son was of course BS but it led to many a fired up and funny conversations. In truth, if he was my son, I would have been proud to admit it. I would like to tell stories about our experiences together but the words just escape me right now. My heart goes out to Jeanie who was the love of his life and who is just lost right now. Dave and Doug, his brothers, are handling whatever needs to be done now and will provide more information when the time is right. I will deeply miss him as so many others will as well. Devin, famous for his daily Glamis weather reports, his super abilities at leading dune rides and just his all around good guy ways is now with God. Rest In Peace Brother (son).

That's unbelievable! I read something he wrote on FB just yesterday! He was a great guy!

Son of a bitch!! This is devastating 😢.  He was my neighbor and friend. I am going to miss him. Don't even know what to say..

I am so bummed 😞  Dev sent me something last night at 230am fb took it down, probably something political but now I'm bummed I can see it.

Dev was a unique fun guy to be around never knew what would come out of his mouth. Drove me nuts as he could never remember his password 🤣 I am going to really miss him, this season will not be the same.. now I have to dry MY EYES

I just read on Instagram, that he passed away in his sleep!

So sad. RIP brother!!! You'll be missed.

RIP DEV..... saw him last at Jim & Melissa’s wedding a few years back.  He will be missed!
