I got my rears today!

ABC what air pressure you plan on running? i have basically the same paddles just not beadlock rims. 32"x13 11 paddle for rear and 32"x11 mohawk front.  my old teyrx i was about 10lbs all the way around. but the bigger 4 seat turbo velocity  im not sure if that is too low.

That is a great question. When running quads you can usually run about 6 psi, but I think with these heavy side-by-sides, You are supposed to run high, like 15 to 18?

i’m going to ask shock therapy since they fully outfitted the velocity with all the suspension goodies you can get.

speaking of the velocity and its discontinuation, I am considering selling my 2014 and buying another 2 Seat velocity.

I haven’t had the 1110cc 2014 XP in Glamis yet so I’m not sure how much more I’m going to get out of the extra 110cc…. I really love my velocity but I have to be more careful with body roll as compared to my older model which is 68 inches wide and lower.

I hope I can find a velocity before they’re all gone.

having two identical machines all with interchangeable parts belts and tires as well as the increased horsepower and a new warranty seems like the way I want to go…

… you know so I can spank RG in his speed

🤣

thanks for the reply, i guess i can start off at 15.

i found my velocity at wheels in motion in chatsworth, they had a few the other day when i was bored and looking at their site. i dont really know if i would notice a difference in different pressure since i am new to rzr. i just figured i could not run a much larger machine with bigger tires at the same pressure i had the old teyrx at. i just picked up the paddles from skat trak yesterday, if the tire for my trailer comes in tomorrow i might do a little half day trip to the dunes on saturday.

I ran the standard Xp full paddle on my 2018 XPT. They are very heavy, they dig, and throw mad roost! I got rid of them and run the SS360 32” front and rear. Couldn’t be happier same with everyone following me!

I’ve always ran mine at 10psi even the non beadlocks.

have you ran the 32" tire up front on your velocity? i just put the paddles on the car tonight and it looks like if the front wheels are tuned and the suspension compresses it will rub on the corner of the fender well or flairs. have you had that issue at all?

I have a small rub mark from mine. Nothing major. Mines a 2018 XPT not an S.

sand shark had told me he runs at 12. so i went out on saturday and ran at 14, thought it would be better to start higher, but i forgot my tire gauge so i did not adjust but i think next trip out im going to try at 12.

Lots of my sand car buddies would run 12psi, but I always liked a solid rear wheel that didn't gum around so I could slide her.. just felt like I had more control, so I ran 18-22psi in the SCU. I'm kinda going that direction with my SXSs.  .. lot easier on the drive trains (belts) at higher PSI too.

I'm almost positive they said 18 PSI after all the shock work I got done last season.

Wish I was there now.. first trip Friday (6 days before Thanksgiving).. leaving Tue or Wed before Thanksgiving.. then I plan to be there every 3/4 weeks for the season.. no Kauai for Christmas/New Years, might try a 7-10 day trip.

it takes me a little under 2 hours to get out to glamis so i just went out for a few hours on saturday by myself. i will probably do more trips like that too. plus the full weekend trip about once a month with my normal group

first time driving the rzr in the sand, even at 14psi i just felt like i was getting some tire spin when i would give it gas so i wanted to try 12. maybe ill try 12, then jump up to 18 for the heck of it so i can feel the difference between them.
