I did the same thing! So much betterI replaced those with ARP 12pts metric nuts . Allows plenty of room for a closed box end
Chisel and flat blade screwdriver. How did you get it off?
It is a 15mm.what wrench size does it have? there are special nuts that go there with 15mm wrench size
I’ll grind a socket and wrench in case the ARP’s don’t get here in time. Thanks.Time to customize a tool. I have a 17mm that is ground all over the place to tighten that fucking nut.
Yeah, todays climate makes you second guess !!!! I picked up @sndsamplr today for a hobby shop run in Santee and he was telling me about "blowing a tranny" in the Tundra......I said hey, "You may wanna re phrase that" with everything happening these days !!!!!!Not at all what I was expecting based on the title of this thread.
There is already another thread about (one of) the trans nuts. Not at all what I was expecting based on the title of this thread.
I had to grind some of the web mid-span on the combo wrench as well so I could turn it enough without hitting the engine cage. Socket obviously shouldn't be a problem here.I’ll grind a socket and wrench in case the ARP’s don’t get here in time. Thanks.
