How do you tighten the lower adapter plate to transaxle nut on a 2D? My thinnest wall snap on socket can’t get around it. I can’t get a wrench on it enough to tighten it. What is the trick?

Like a couple people here have mentioned, grind down the boxed end of a hand wrench.

Not at all what I was expecting based on the title of this thread.
Yeah, todays climate makes you second guess !!!! I picked up @sndsamplr today for a hobby shop run in Santee and he was telling me about "blowing a tranny" in the Tundra......I said hey, "You may wanna re phrase that" with everything happening these days !!!!!!

Yikes ! The world is off its Rockerr!!!!!!

Back to the Real Topic at hand !!!!!

I’ll grind a socket and wrench in case the ARP’s don’t get here in time. Thanks.
I had to grind some of the web mid-span on the combo wrench as well so I could turn it enough without hitting the engine cage. Socket obviously shouldn't be a problem here.

ARP 300-8365 is the part number for quantity of 10 12pt nuts if you have M10X1.5 thread studs. On order hopefully they/them nuts arrive before my trip.
