How much does it cost to raise a kid to 25 yrs old?

One thing I've learned having kids...................They always come back. I don't blame them.......Dad is a pretty cool dude! And as they like to say, Very Generous. I wonder what they mean by that? ($$$$) One thing that has stuck in their minds is Mother Glamis. The Stories / The Life Lessons / The Dune Rides / The Friends / The Memories / The Highway There and Back. So many wonderful experiences. One Great Story. My oldest daughter 36 years old is Epileptic and Autistic. A couple years ago we decided to get her a drivers license with Driver Training. Instead of a Learners Permit, the DMV granted her a Legal License. Talk about shocked. We had classes lined up for her to learn how to drive on the roads. I told her, we're not taking drivers courses. You're going straight to the street. I could see the look on her face, she was extremely nervous. I said to her............"Do you know how to Rip Dunes in Glamis?" She had a huge grin and said "Sure Do Dad". My Reply................"You'll do better than 90% of the people on the road". Her expression changed. Gave her a couple simple tips like drive the speed limit, stay between the lines, focus on your task at hand. We don't allow her on the Highway, she's just a city driver to work, grocery stores, simple runs around town. Bought her a car and she has grown up with so much confidence. The only thing I'm trying to correct is the acceleration / stop points. Nails the gas / slams the brakes. "That's what we did in the Dunes Dad" Some things you can't erase. Duning taught a Special Needs Girl how to drive on City Streets. Priceless. Peace
