How does one upload photos on gd?

when I try they just show up as black boxes?

Same here when I try to upload them from my iPhone but they work fine when I upload them from my computer. Hopefully someone can help out.IMG_0286.jpeg

 
Good chance either it didn't like the file type, size, your connection, or someone didn't feed the servergerbils this morning

 
It worked a few months ago I posted an entire thread of pictures with my phone. I did upgrade to an iPhone 15 within that time maybe the forum doesn’t like the new iOS.

I know the I phones run a .HEIC file type..  maybe that's it?

maybe try to "edit" one of those pictures & save it as a different format (if it lets you) & then upload it???

I will try a few things when I get home..

Add file, photo library then choose picture and insert 🤷🏻‍♀️

i load all my pics from my phone, it works really easy and fast,  then i edit the verbiage on my home computer if needed
