I was driving around the neighborhood, and I noticed the people that camp back in their truck into the driveway, the pretenders pull in forward. My wife's car goes in forward, but the truck always gets backed in...........really have no idea why either??? What do you do?

@Cookie Same, I back my truck in...wife's car get's pulled into the garage forward.
At work, I back into the spots. It is just so much easier pulling out if backed in and easier as well to back into the spot!
Also, cause I can!
LMAO
🍻

All cars forward.

edit.. I guess the XJ is backed into the RV side, but it doesn't get driven much.

Backed in except whatever is in the 3rd bay. Pull in forward in that bay so the driver door opens into the garage, not the wall.
Backing in is safer than backing out statistically too.

I have a fairly steep driveway and a truck I don’t drive unless I’m towing. I used to back it in until we had a pretty wet winter and I noticed a crack in the muffler with water dripping out. Somehow rain was getting in through the tail pipe and collected in the muffler. I stopped backing it in after that

Driveway pull in forward usually, parking spots ALWAYS back in

Mine sits on the street. Keeps the driveway and garage open and the truck pointed north, so the sun never has a chance to beat up the interior.

Backed in the driveway. Commuter car also backed in where ever I park.

if im just parking in the drive way pull, in, im at the top of a cul-de-sac no need to back in. but the truck is normally stored on the side of the house(its basically just a glamis tow pig) and then its backed in, easier to get in and out of the gate on the side of the house that way. cars get pulled in the garage, my driveway is a little steep and backing in makes it harder to see, and my car is low, i scrape if i go nose first down the drive way.

I pull in the truck as I pack close to a wall so the passenger side door doesn't have room to open. The other car is backed in so the driver doors are facing the truck door and have room to open. 3rd car is backed in but more so the kids can get in the back seat easier, it could be pull in front ways if we wanted. Its all about function for me, are you guys backing in just because you think it looks better?

I don't really know the reason. I sometimes use my tailgate as a workbench, but all my neighbors also back in their trucks while their cars all go in forward. These are flat driveways.

Maybe it is a man vs woman thing, lol.
