Hope to identify my new sand rail frame manufacturer as well as the snap on vinyl panels

Think the ball joint front beam came out in 68. The trans number is a type 1. IRS or swing matters not to box. Easy to convert one to the other.

Being in MI, that is probably a Berrian. You can get most any part for it from https://www.appletreeauto.com/, they are located in Hart, MI near the dunes. Great people to get parts from too.

Yeah browsing around FB marketplace it sure seems like there are a ton of this exact frame in the area. And it seemed to match the pictures of the Berrien warrior frame. Any suggestion on VW engine builders in the area? I am actually just south of Toledo in Ohio, but I don't mind a bit of a drive. Looking for options on a rehab for this winter.
