Just finished wiring up my HP and I am not getting any spark. Has anyone had an issue with low RPM cranking not letting the Crank Sync with the Cam?

I checked all the sensors and wires and its hooked up ok. I have a Hi-torque starter on a VW flywheel. LS3

Thanks, relay is working as the fuel pump is running.

Looks like the crank sensor is dropping out... brand new motor from GM, but not a Delco sensor

Is it cranking fast? There's a min crank speed for most cam/crank sensors.

Otherwise: sensor is getting constant power/ground? If so, sensor might be brand new shit.

Just did some trouble shouting with Holley and there is not enough RPM.

It's a VW bellhousing with a hi-torq starter... not sure I can get any more RPM. Has anyone had this issue before?

This setting should be the same in the HP software...it was mentioned several times to adjust in forums I was reading when I had a similar issue with no spark,,,try moving the RPM down a bit. One other issue - the red wire that says run straight to the battery - make sure it is, and not through a relay, fuse, etc.

I was chasing an issue with a fueltech starting issue, fueltech instructions call for cam sync to use the 5v but in further tech and reading we were instructed to use 12/16v for cam sync if we had a weak signal. Not sure about Holley though

This is minimum RPM to start. Might help, but I think he's having an issue where the sensor itself isn't reading because it's spinning too slow.

Which model? There are a bunch:

Probably need an N model to spin fast enough.

what is the actual crank RPM? anything over 100 should be fine. pull the plugs, shut off the fuel and crank it over. if it does not synch, you have a sensor or wiring issue that needs to be addressed before anything.
