Highway Star

A number of cool cars today on the way south.

I also saw a cyber truck put on the road the other day.  Totally caught me off guard.

@SANDBAM, if that is a Rivian, it should make it about 200 miles, maybe 225.  Im assuming that the boat is about 6K or 7K.

Generally speaking, about 300 miles on a charge for an E-car.

The Q....what does towing do to that?

On my gas stuff I lose 20-30% of my mileage towing.  Therefore, about 210 miles.

But, I have no actual data.  i am conjecting.

The same applies to rivians (and presumably other EVs).  My son works for them and we had a long talk about replacing my dodge with a Rivian.  With my trailer I would have to charge when I got down into the desert and might not make it to a charge station.

I would also have to charge while there, ot stop in El Centro to charge before heading west over the hill.  It would not make it back home.  I would have to stop in pine valley or so and charge again.

F-that!!!
