My neighbor had a 66 with a small block and a 4 speed.  When he retired he went and bought a 2006.  He said he can't even drive the 66 any more, because the 06 is just SOO much better in every way.  After much debate, he sold the 66 a couple of months later.

Did he have to conjure up Einstein from the dead to figure out that 40 years of tech innovation might make HUGE differences in a car?

That's too bad. The 66 appreciates in value and draws a crowd. The 06 blends in with every other car on the street. Someday he'll regret that decision. lol

 
today.......... Im firmly on the fence about stuff like this.  some days I REALLY wish I had kept my 71 Camaro.  it was a super bitchen car & today, might be worth something more than the candy bar I traded it for. 

For my neighbor......... he drives the crap out of his car.  He & his wife get WAY more enjoyment out of the new one VS the old one.  And he is tied into the San Diego Corvette folks, & got a great deal for the car.  in fact he does gauges, wiper motors & headlight motors for Vette's if any of you guys need them.  he is VERY particular about his work.  the name of his company is Valley Vettes (or something like that). 

 
Today's winners.  I applaud the commitment to their candidate!!!  Takes guts to do that and park it on thw street.

Dude with the Lexus lost the rubber band that holds thw beer on.  Fortunately for him all of the bolts are still there.  

What is mohica? Is that the PC version of bohica???  LOL 

Anyone know what is on the back of that flatbed?  Looks like some kind of racy Porcha.  

I loved the look of the dart.  Looks like the ultimate sleeper.

Today's highway star is a good one.  Sorry for the crappy picture, it was dark and I didn't have coffee yet.    This was on the 15 north, right before Miramar.  Dude was movin right along...

I'm kind of a city guy so can one of you country folks explain why you would be driving down the road with a horse outside your window?? 

And we have seen a bunch of SxS's riding around on the street even one on a small highway.
