Here's An Idea, Term Limits

The only problem is that laws are passed by Congress and they'd have to pass the law and in doing so cut their own throat.

But, it is an excellent idea.
 
Been wishing for it for years, but the hogs will never vote away the trough they swill at.
 
The real answer is going back to a part time legislature with compensation doled out on a per-diem basis.
The special interest / ideological widget factories would have little problem lining up their drones election after election to perpetuate their myopic jihads against American taxpayers.
Maybe a 10 year term limit on government employment could be a better angle?
 
I got an idea, no insider trading.... IRS audits every year and 2 term limits....and NO lobbyists in DC.
 
Each time this issue is raised, elected officials deflect by claiming that elections themselves constitute term limits, rather than addressing the substance of the concern. Officials consistently respond by asserting that term limits already exist in the form of elections.
 
Would require a amendment to the Constitution and that aint gonna happen . . .
 
Would solve many problems. People want to blame the President, 8 year term limit, while senate and congress have none............so who is the problem?
 
Make it impossible for them to make money first. No more campaign contributions by non-people. No insider trading. No non-profit money laundering organizations.
 
Another idea...it would be nice for a person of let's say...common folk knowledge to run for office???
Take for instance CA Governor...All I see is Billionaires (like Tom Steyer) mostly DEMONCraps running. They state they are for the people. They all do this but in reality, that have no clue!! Tom states he wasn't to get back to basics...there is nothing basic about him. He throw money at his campaign and say whatever he wants on HIS commercials. Frustrating.
The common person really has no voice! Oh, sure we vote...but that goes on deaf ears!
Along with that, they have to go back to the working sector after the term limits!

That's why we need someone like Chad Bianco. He really is in the trenches, not living behind guard gated walls!!!!!
