GVWR?

Just want to make sure my truck and my white knuckles can handle it.

Gonna look at it tomorrow.   Older trailer, well used but also well taken care of, "it sounds like".
You shouldn’t have anything to worry about as far as the capabilities of your truck. As long as the trailer is in good shape, you shouldn’t have any problems.

I had a tahoe 26tb. Was a GREAT trailer. Do be careful with the tanks. The drain valve was old and brittle on the fresh Tank and it broke (was basically a 1/4 pipe plug) another issue i had; the distance between the crapper are the bottom of the holding tank was like 4-5” and if i didnt prefill the black tank with 10 gallons of water to allow waste to disperse, it would build up under the toilet
The elusive poop pyramid!

I had 2 of these 5'ers.

1st was a 2002 metal slided, no bed slide a dual axle.

2nd was a 2004 fiberglass sided, bedroom slide and triple axle.

I can't remember the weights on them (could look them up if you want) but both pulled fine with my 2002 2500 HD duramax. As for the white nuckle part, don't work about it at all, I would forget about it being back there on long drives. The length was more of a issue then the weight, and that was only in tight camp grounds.

Post up some pic of it.

Interesting that 3 feet of trailer ( 30’ to 33’) adds 2000 pounds to the weight of the trailer. I would not have thought that to be the case. Also interesting is that a 27’ trailer weighs more than a 30’.  As suggested, probably best to weigh the trailer fully loaded so you know what is really happening.

Went to go take a 2nd look and bring home the Thor.  Had cash in hand.  Went to pull down rear bed and the shocks are blown.  Thing basically fell down.  Saw some water damage/softness at one of the mounts too.  Pass!

Bummer, but better off on passing on any rig that has water damage....that's a cluster eff every time.

Good deals pop up fast and disappear as fast, you just have to be ready.

Your truck will pull it fine...it's got the power, weight, brakes..etc.

Is the 33TB Fiberglass sides or Alum? FG adds weight they skip counting on that sticker is why I mention it. Just keep it in mind.

You can go get a Non-Com Class A letter if you like....but all your TH stickers will say your under the 14,999 anyway.

Yore good mang, doo eet.

not sure what it is now, but on the old ones it was close to 100lb per linear foot...

Congrats dude. Awesome for you guys...

Now what happened 😳

Crazy seller?

5th wheel hitch came off?

Truck or small car cut you off and you had to hit the brake controller?

Jack knifed?

:moof:

Couldn't sleep with all that comfort going on?

Couldn't stand showers without a bag?

Quads didn't feel right not getting rained on the whole way out?

You think too highly of me.  This does have an outdoor shower which I only noticed after  the fact.  Super stoked.
Gonna miss you deep in the washes. Welcome to hard pack camping. Peace

I may be your new neighbor now.

Xanadu will still be a spot for trips but not with this beast.  We've stuck with our flatbeds out there.

Oldest daughter says she refuses to sleep in this and wants to be under the stars and poo behind bushes.
