Glamis weather

My son and I delivered two more Funco's this evening and it was still windy in Glamis on Gecko Rd. Lots of sand drifts so if you're driving in at night slow TF down. There are two huge spots next to Pad 4 that you will need 4x4 to get through. Maybe they've been plowed down by now but they were fresh and over 2 feet tall around 4pm. Roadrunner had lost of tall drifts as well and 4x4 was again mandatory. Some are so tall no one will chance it and are going into the center section and staying off the pavement.

It snowed on the 10/60 split in Beaumont/Yucaipa for 15 mins around 7pm. Kinda cool, kinda sketch.

Pad 3/5 are packed as usual, other pads have space, Cement Flats had apace, and Gecko Loop is not even half full. There's even beach front space at Roadrunner on the canal side.

I'm back home trying to finish up prep on a Funco Gen 3 and Gen 5 so a father and son can make the Regatta. Tomorrow is gonna be a long and cold day in my shop.

I'm at home this weekend but my son is out there for the Regatta transporting Funco's. Said it was 70° today, slight breeze. Sounded way better than the non stop rain storm here in LA today.

Going to Glamis tomorrow as there is a break in the weather. Hopefull Beaumont won't be a chore.

My daughter is totally snowed in at Arrowhead, like 8 feet outside her cabin.

PS. Still recovering from my tricep re-attachment surgery, but I should be good.

This past weekend was brutal  / felt bad for the funco peeps who paid 200 bucks to do the regatta......sooo windy and cold....then rain

The dunes were beautiful Sunday with some wind but not as bad / Looking forward to the annual Imperial Invasion with @HairyJR coming up for some 3 wheel rides!

Have friends out this week / Will get some updated pics

WATCH OUT FOR THE SAND DRIFTS ON THE ROAD !!!!!!!

I'm usually at Wash 10, but this time getting my boxes dropped off on Gecko Road .. better with easy access to the big dunes. He's welcome to join me tomorrow for the 4 day weekend!

I'll have my Toy Box, Toy Hauler and both RZRs

The dunes are the best after a big blow, like riding on the moon, no tracks to follow. Been there done that, I have stayed in the trailer for a couple days waiting for the wind to stop. DON~~~
