Glamis weather

I've never seen wind in Glamis as bad as it was around 8pm tonight (Tuesday). White out conditions on Gecko Rd. I had to stop several times become I couldn't see the center or outside times on the road. I dropped a stacker off and headed home around 9pm. The wind was really strong but I was cruising 75mph with no trailer. Caught a few dust clouds on the 78 then the 86. Not too bad. Got up past the Mecca ARCO amd it was blowing HARD AF! Tractor trailer was on it's side in the center median. More white out conditions and we all stopped driving. I was not comfortable sitting still waiting to get rear ended. A few cars and trucks inched forward until we could see well enough to drive at 10mph. There is no shoulder in that part of the 86, just deep silt, which was blowing across the hwy. This happened several more times until we got to the 10 frwy. Then it happened again in Indio- came to a complete stop until I could see the ground.

I've never driven in weather like that before.

Do you have any paint still on the front of your truck?

Wow!

Buddy of mine owns a body shop here in Phoenix.

Already got a pix from a customer.

Side of truck is ruined.  Chrome is dulled, paint is sandblasted.

He was out there last night.

Gecko ranger station showed 52mph gusts is the highest I saw.  Crazy

Still blowing today.
Dunes will be great tomorrow.

its blowing pretty good.  Cant see Osborn from Boardmanville.
