Glamis Thanksgiving!

Spent a lot of TGs out there over the years and this was the first ever that we didn't stay the full 9/10 day trip, pulled out Tuesday afternoon and the washes were basically off-weekend 20 years ago empty. The weekend before TG the only sound in 13.5 after 9/10pm was my little Honda genny and there wasn't a single wash more than 25% full by the time we left. Between that and the weather I was sad to leave but we'd already booked the rest of the TG break in Vegas.

Most of the washes after Wash 6 did not fill up after Tuesday. It was odd not seeing the train of rigs rolling in Wednesday or Thursday evening.

Weather was perfect all week.

My friend left yesterday at around noon and said getting out of the washes was a breeze.
 
My only "complaint" was the dust... and it wasn't because of traffic or crowds... it was that super weird atmospheric shit at sunset that settles over the washes when the temp/humidity/wind is just right (or wrong) ...it was absolutely stifling for an hour or so a couple nights. If that's all I have to complain about I'd say it went pretty damned well 🤘

We only got that dust one of the nights when the breeze stopped. Thankfully Thanksgiving dinner was dust free.
