Glamis Thanksgiving!

That Racer is SBA. I've been waiting for someone to modern front engine rail.
 
Weather was perfect all week and the dunes were great. This was the smallest crowd I have ever seen in Glamis for Thanksgiving.

We did not run into too many groups out in the dunes. The usual spots had a good amount of people, but it was not any where close to busy like it was for Camp RZR weekend. I was expecting the mad rush of motorhomes and trailers to start showing up Wednesday night and Thursday night and it did not happen. The wash we camped in had plenty of room when I left this morning as did most of the washes.

Did a Duners Diner run on Wednesday and got down there before the breakfast rush came in. Friday morning the dunes were empty and did a nice 45 mile loop around the dunes. Did over 350 miles of duning and burned a lot of fuel this week.

Pair of Maverick Rs in our group. I took one of them for a spin and it was a lot of fun. Second time driving a Mav R and it was more impressive this time around as I was able to play around with the different shock settings on the live valve and the drive/transmission modes. Being in auto and having the ability to manually downshift or up shift is pretty badass.
