Cots....and 2-4" of foam rubber.

I like a tent for prviacy and keeps you junk corraled...like shoes, sleeping back, pillow, et.

One of the best showers that I every took was at Camp Roberts on summer.  Tent trailer tarp as a stall...black 5 gal jerry can laid in the shade and a GI canvas bag w/a shower nozzle on it CCW to open, CW to close.

About 2 hours later, word came down from the 1st Sgt....we got access to the barracks, and we are gonna start rotating people in, every 2-3 hours....like washing your car and it rains, I made that possible for the other 150 persons.
