Generators what do you like

Great to hear that. Exactly what I was looking for
I will say: the Harbor Freights are impressively quiet. The 3200w Firman is almost indistinguishable noise level wise, but slightly different tone.

I have the Predator 5000 and it works great, it powered a 13,500 AC+Microwave+Airfryer all at the same time and never missed a beat....and it was over a 110 Deg outside in full sunlight.....now with said it is big and heavy and not that loud but compared to a Honda everything is loud.

I also have the Honda 2200 Companion with 30 Amp connector, and it will run a Furrion 13,500 AC on Eco Mode....it ramps up when the AC starts but settles back into Eco once the AC is running. The Furrion 13,500 are super-efficient and might even have a built-in soft start, but it ran it no problem.

When buying the Honda 2200 pay the extra $100 and get the Companion model with 30 amp plug.....it makes a difference when trying to power your RV's.

The Honda 3200 seems like a great unit and Honda is known for underrating their generators so you might be surprised on what it can actually run.

I have the Honda 3000 and a pair of Honda 2200s. Neither setup will run a roof AC AND microwave at the same time. I have a portable AC (110v on wheels with the dryer vent) that a single 2200 will run.

The problem with the Predators is their peak power is significantly less than what you'd expect, not a direct comparison to the Hondas. They are not bad gennys, but if you were targeting the 3500 you need to get the 5k. I had purchased a pair of their 2ks with the parallel kit ...a single would trip the breaker when attempting to run my mini-split on the enclosed and both in parallel would come off eco mode with the same load... a single Honda 2200 won't even come off eco mode with that load and the minisplit on turbo mode.

All that to say, sounds like you want the 5k genny.

Thank you. Looking at the Westinghouse 5000 now. It will work since that’s what the previous owner had. I was really hoping for something lighter and quieter but that doesn’t seem to be an option if I want to run the ac without issues.

Take a look at the Champion 4500 Inverter Gen with wireless remote....reviews look good and packed with good features...$889 on Amazon.

nothing light when you want a Generator that can run everything. I am tired of moving my Predator 3500.

I gave away my brand new champion generator. It wasn’t an inverter but it was honestly the loudest generator I ever heard!

I’ve been eyeing these in the 5500 size and the WEN6800 As well.
I have the Onan 4500. Super quiet and plenty of power. I go all day without running a generator. After dinner I fire it up and it runs all night until I go outside and shut it off. I run my space heater and charge my batteries. Only downfall is the small wheels and you need to set it on a piece of plywood when it runs or the air filter gets super dirty because the intake is at the bottom.

HF releasing new line of inverter generators over the next few months. Big ones and little ones.
I have no use for the new 11.4KW so I'll go straight there immediately and buy one.

Predator 3500 with big tire kit and the GenMax 7500 with 120/240 NEMA 14 50 plug.

The HF 3500 Inverter is on sale now, $200 off. Go inverter.

I use a Honda eu3000 and it runs a 13.5k easily. Have also used it with the micro if it’s a short time. I just turn the ac down to low from high.

They are hard to beat they are quiet and hold enough fuel to run an ac for 10-12 hours.
