Gas tank repair

Don't use JB weld, You just made more work for the next guy, when that repair fails. Now, I would charge more to clean up the mess of the JB weld. By the way, the material of the tank is wax based. Have you ever heard of any glue sticking to wax? No, because it doesn't. You might get a mechanical bond for a little while, but then, over time, holding fluid (gas) it will break again. I promise you!!

Meanwhile you have somebody you know and love sitting on top of it strapped in.

$1,100.00 for a new gas tank or a visit to the burn ward. That choice to me is a no brainer.
