The Cheby shortbed with a 8.1 gas engine, that is worthless. It can pass anyting but a gas station. Our friend had one towed his big Raptor 5th wheel up to Flag once. Was getting less than 6MPG up the hill had to stop for gas like three times. My f350 has an effin 26 gallon tank. Worthless! You guys are giving me tank envy
under trump the cost of carbon dioxide was $7 per ton ( the amount of carbon dioxide they release into the air) under biden it is now $51, thats a big jump in costs that is not reflected with the price per barrel, he also increased the cost of the permits by 50%. he made the whole process more expensive. but all some people can focus on is the price of a barrel of oil, that is only a part of the whole equation.I read an article a couple weeks ago that addressed all the extra regulatory requirements that the current administration have imposed on the oil industry, from pulling oil out of the ground to refining and transporting finished product. It is quite burdensome and expensive, which is the goal.
One of the requirements was lowering benchmarks where carbon credits need to purchased to offset emissions during the refining process, which is adding to the increase in price of the finished product.
You can't compare the price of a barrel of oil to the finished product without considering the how the regulatory requirements have influenced the cost of producing that product.
But wait! He's not responsible for the price hike remember?!? They just keep touting that it's a cycle and no president has the ability to blahblahblablahunder trump the cost of carbon dioxide was $7 per ton ( the amount of carbon dioxide they release into the air) under biden it is now $51, thats a big jump in costs that is not reflected with the price per barrel, he also increased the cost of the permits by 50%. he made the whole process more expensive. but all some people can focus on is the price of a barrel of oil, that is only a part of the whole equation.
remember the tweet the white house sent out when the price dropped 2 cents, about how the president is working hard to lower your gas price. they know a majority of people are dumb, they did the same thing when the prices jumped up under obama. But wait! Can you post said article, I'm curious to see what all the extra regulatory requirements are that the current administration have imposed on the oil industry.I read an article a couple weeks ago that addressed all the extra regulatory requirements that the current administration have imposed on the oil industry, from pulling oil out of the ground to refining and transporting finished product. Truth. It also seems to be that in California, one refinery goes down at EXACTLY the same time that another is down for "maintenance” as we’re getting bent over at the pump . . .Fact is the refineries are the problem, among other things. Virtually no refineries have been built in over 40 years, they are pushed to the max and if one goes down it f.cks up the whole supply chain. Every President in the last 40 years is to blame for all these regulations that are causing this, Biden has not made it better. There is no end in sight either.
I will try and find it and post a link. Can you post said article, I'm curious to see what all the extra regulatory requirements are that the current administration have imposed on the oil industry.

:kenk: $13/gallon for what? Unicorn dust infused, magic gas that adds a bazillion HP and 40,000 MPG??????I just paid $13.00 a gallon yesterday, 55 gallons, but it smells good, hope this will last me this week,
I could not find the specific article I referenced in my post, but I did find an article I read in the past about increased regulation on methane emissions. Can you post said article, I'm curious to see what all the extra regulatory requirements are that the current administration have imposed on the oil industry.
