My son starts CSULB this fall, that's 80 miles round trip every day there is class. His 2500hd is gonna kill him on fuel costs....other options are being looked at, commuter car, sofa at a new gf house...lol.

We will see...haha

I'm guessing a 2 year lease on a $250 a month gas efficient car.

Two solutions. A beater with 4 cyl. one of my guys lived in Moreno Valley, needed to work
at my Palos Verdes site. He selected a motorcycle. Before he was promoted to Senior Mechanic, he went thought 2 bikes. After the promotion he had a LA County truck and a gas card.

been along time since i went to long beach, freshamn year was 2000. i lived in the dorms but after the dorms i started riding a motorcycle, mainly because of parking. so much easier.
if i remember right do your boys play hockey? reason i went to long beach back then was to play hockey there. im sure the program has gotten much better from when i was there.
