There is a movement that wants Americans pitted against each other in things like retaliatory actions, we need to be cognizant of who the enemy actually is.
China, Russia, N. Korea and Iran are pretty decent Chess players.

The real enemy is a guy named George Soros.

He's the reason for all the discord in Our country today.

Sorros is selling an idea, our dysfunctional conservatives were asleep at the wheel long enough to allow the idea to become a viable alternative to capitalism and fair and open competition.
This was happening with the Teacher’s Union and public education before Sorros started his shiz in earnest. Stuff like this is cyclical, 250 years of a more or less unchallenged system is a long time in this day and age.

He's not Selling Anything, he's BUYING.

His money is Why we have all these liberal fucking judges, DA's and corrupt politicians in office.

His money has moved mountains so he can get what he wants.

And what he wants is exactly what's happening now. Criminals being free on OUR streets, and the left prevailing.

He's paid for the situation we have today.

We've been waiting around for our leaders to fix this and it's just getting worse, I really don't think there's any other alternative other than to take it into our own hands.
Start treating all of these things as an act of civil war, because it is... I think we're just all in denial...

The enemy are the ones that allowed themselves to be indoctrinated and bought into all that bullshit at this point... They're not saveable that's for damn sure.
 
I watched him almost everyday - He was so awesome with the facts - a kind guy - never yelled at people and always welcomed opposite opinion to debate.

This guy could have been a future President (I believe he was in line to be the next Vice President in 2028)

They’re no worse than people like me that were backing Bush 1 & 2.
The vast majority of people demanding socialism have never experienced it. They support the idea of socialism.
I’m old with no kids, I don’t really give a shit if the new reality is politics via projectile at 200 yards, your tax dollars paid for pretty good training using an iron sight at 500 yards.
By all means have at it if you think blasting a target is anywhere near the same as a sack of meat with a pulse, it’s highly impersonal for me.

Sadly, our leaders are selling us down the river. Our corporations are buying us out. Our media is playing cheerleader for their side rather than for America.

They’re all playing with fire. “Government of the people, by the people, for the people”, not “government of the R/D, by the R/D, for the R/D”.

I don't think that you were trying to dox, intimidate, physically harm, burn buildings, you get the picture, when you were a young "staunch" Republican voting for Bush 1 and 2...
There there isn't a day that doesn't go by that there's a cry for blood on TikTok Facebook Twitter or X etc. with 12,000 likes and loves.
The Looney left is celebrating the death of him right now saying that he brought it upon himself because he was supporter of the second amendment. Apparently he is quoted as saying that deaths are worth the second amendment.
It feels different, maybe it always does. I highly doubt that I'll look back in 20 years and look at it the way you do though.

We’re in 100% agreement on your assessment of the situation and anger at the folks perpetrating this.
While never experiencing war I came very close and called coworkers who did experience it “brothers.” I hope you and my fellow GDC peeps never have to experience war either but make no mistake, if the band is playing I’m dancing.
I guess my anger is equally distributed though, in the last 20 years I’ve been more upset with the political party I’m aligned with screwing me and less surprised at the political party I’m against screwing me.
For years on GDC I’ve talked about the Teacher’s Union and the affect of progressive policies with little to no pushback from conservatives. I wrote a lot of it off because I lived in California. All of us to one extent or another set the stage for this shit, I own my part.

Your words were not lost. I often talk about a "friend of mine" online that would talk about the teachers unions, and now that I work for the state of California, I completely see what the fuck you were talking about.
 
City, county, state, Federal. are all corrupt.
Get a job, expand yore circle of responsibility.
Get more funding.
