Hope they have something to tie him to the death....they shared the same space so dna would be all over her. Unless there is some under her nails....He can just say i left her at spot X and that was the last time I saw her. Given her mental state, not out of reality to say someone picked her up and did her in.  This is going to be a tough one.  All indications are he did it, but not much proof he was there when she died.  Maybe they have a van sighting or pinged phones....I sure hope it wasn't some random person. 

 
When he returned, what 10 days before anyone knew or asked any questions and he never said anything and his parents didn't ask about her - that's all BS. The instant he came through the door, I'm positive at least his mother asked where she was because that's what mothers ask. Then he lawyers up and won't answer questions? WTF is that BS?? If he was a 15 yr old black kid suspected of stealing a can of spray paint, he would have been handcuffed to a table with no food, water or parent for 36 hrs straight until he signed a fake confession.

Him and his attorney should have been interrogated, attorneys aren't above the law. Obstruction of justice charges at the very least, if not accessory after the fact, the same thing with everyone living in his parent's house. Interrogate them all, I'm positive they all know the whole story but they helped him escape instead of coming forward. 

What's with the BS story of him wandering off into a local wooded area? I think they got him on a plane to a non-extradition country and left his car at their house. I bet he is in the woods - down in Venezuela or maybe the Maldives.

Bottom line, the investigators stuffed this one up big time. The Petito family needs to hire an attorney and get these klowns fired so they don't spend 40 yrs screwing up every investigation they touch. Good Lord, what a bunch of eff ups!

Remember, It's not what you know, but what you can prove in a court of law. This guy won't ever be convicted. Unless they hold court somewhere where nobody has heard about him or the story. They will be hard pressed to get a fair trial. This guy walks because of the BS media and that phuckstick Dog the Bounty Hunter. Just like OJ walked!!!

No this guy walks because there is no evidence, that we know of, unless he has scratches...that will likely be healed before they find him, or unless she had DNA, lots of it under her nails.... he can just say.... don't know kicked her out and never saw her again....  Dog is just trying to find the guy..... he's spending his money not yours.... relax.

Even DNA under her nails won't be a deal closer, All he has to say is that the last time they had sex she scratched his back up pretty good.  It will be a tough case to prove unless they have some evidence that makes it so he cant squirm his way out. 

Either way they have to find him first and if he got to the Appalachian Trail, He is going to have to either want to get found or the police will have to get real lucky and stumble upon him

just a bunch of circumstantial evidence.

Happened today for Maya Millette in Chula Vista (South San Diego) been missing since January 7th and today the husband was arrested, finally. Some of the searching included Glamis as they were out there as well. No body, no problem. Hopefully he will fess up but doesn't matter. He's done. I'm glad, as it hits close to home. Not something you hear about where they were from. YouTuber chick goes missing and the whole country loses its s#*t. When Maya went missing, it barely made the news. Why exactly? 🤔 and there's many more, but I digress.

I hear ya! The media ignores the story unless she's a cute blonde, then it suddenly becomes national headlines for months! Remember Jonbenet Ramsey? They milked that story until the damn cows died!

I would push back a little on this. Gabby's parents and step parents worked hard to get media attention to get help in finding her. Her father pushed hard to get coverage to help them. It didn't just happen because she was a cute blonde. Also, the fact that she was documenting their trip in videos on YouTube probably helped in getting coverage.

Gabby's family has also set up a foundation that will assist other families like Maya's to help get attention on their cases to help in finding their loved ones.

BTW....watching the news right now and they may have found Laundrie. His parents showed up to a site in FL with LE and a coroner is on site.

I don't know this is true, but I would think that Maya's family probably tried just as hard to get media attention on her case as Gabby's family did. However, local media hasn't been exactly been giving it minute by minute coverage and I'd be shocked if her case has gotten any media attention outside of San Diego or CA at the most.

There have been plenty of cases where a couple of young black kids go missing and even the police hardly raised a finger. Then a cute little white girl is kidnapped by the same perp and suddenly it's nationwide and possibly even international news. I recall a couple of cases where a British child was kidnapped on vacation or a cute teen was kidnapped on vacation and it was international news for weeks and the media followed the case yrs later when they arrested someone for it. It was big news here, and neither of them were Americans, but they sure were photogenic!

 
Now the cops say they found items, whatever that means.

I hope he is dead and died a long slow painful death. What a POS he and parents are!

I'm guessing no one here will be offended by my comments. If so, I'm not sorry. 🤬
