Ford Raptor R prices coming down?

"stealerships" like that should have their franchises REVOKED
This was actually a used car dealer who had one with 84 miles on it. Guessing guys buying and flipping.

Wow...50K over????

I just spoke with GMC and might be ordering a 2024 2500 HD.

They said 3 Months. No mark up!

With that, my 2018 2500 HD Duramax will be up for sale soon if anyone is interested.
My friend has a 2500 on order and same deal - no mark-up.     I have be shopping around for a new 1/2 ton and have been able to negotiate deals under MSRP or at MSRP.  Just waiting for the car makers to start offering good interest rates on the truck on want.

my buddy just bought a new chevy 2500 hd dmax off the lot here in okla. 68k out the door plus 2k for a 5yr b to b warranty. he tried to build it online and said price was within 200.00 dollars. it had a power rear window and a sunroof which he didn't really want, or need, but vs waiting on a build he bought it.
Was probably a 2023. They did a redesign for 2024...all new interior, new colors. Plus what I like is they added the 10spd trans to the Gas 2500 HD.

Now going back to the Topic of the Raptors...It blows me away how much they are getting for those. Would be a cool daily driver I think.

Ram has some new model...off-road style to compete with the Raptor, but that thing is well over 100K :simrak: 700 hp though

my buddy has a raptor and says he can't barely afford to drive it, said he gets horrible mileage

Going back to gas though! I'm over the diesel...all the electronics, the def, the emissions, fuel filters every other oil change, blah blah blah.

Still sticking with the 2500 HD though.
I was looking at the new ferd's with the 7.3 gasser, almost as much umph as the older diesels like mine

Damn the new trucks are stupid expensive.  My Ford dealer keeps sending me offers to buy my truck back for what I paid for it 4 years ago, that's fine and all but it would cost me another 20k to get another one, no thanks. I'm going to throw another coat of wax on my 2019 super duty and keep it another 8 or 10 years  LOL.

That's like going back to a Rhino.

I wouldn't go that far by any means. I drove a 2023 gas version...Felt great, didn't seem to lack on power!

Again, my trailer is 4500-5000 lbs loaded if that...so I could technically get away with going to a 1500, but to me that would be a big step back!

to each their own though right?

Friend has one. With the 10 speed, hauls a toy hauler over the San Diego I8 grade, you just have to see a larger number on the tach because it’s gas (no real noise). Your enclosed would be zero issues with that truck (and likely overkill). Hell, any HD packaged half ton wouldn’t blink. MPG empty isn’t hugely different between diesel and gas unless you delete the emissions equipment.

I just wouldn’t want to max it out at elevation.

I just sold my 2021 tacoma trd pro for basically msrp. 2 years old with 18000 miles on it. What a strange world we're living in.

I keep passing dealerships with more and more trucks in the lots... Seems they just aren't moving volume, as folks cant justify 60k for a "low" priced work truck... I'm happy with my old, paid off, beater, so I can wait to see if there is a fire sale in the coming economic pitfall I expect in the next few years.

My friend has the 7.3 gasser....they took their airstream across the country... he LOVEs the truck. He came from a ford diesel.

My new 6.7 diesel has a lot of umph. Peace
the issue with those new trucks is they still have the CP4 pump and that's the week point... if they retrofitted back to the CP3 i'd be all in

Funny you say that. A friend just picked up a 6.7 yesterday from a dealership in San Bernadino and 2 miles down the road the CP4 let go.

So, 2 miles on the CP4 (plus whatever the initial test drive off the truck is)?  Dayum...

sucks, 7-10k to repair if it's not under warranty... and get ready for a fight if it is under warranty. They're blaming bad diesel and def chit for the fuel system issues on these when everyone knows that pump SUCKS

FYI for diesel owners...

DO NOT RUN BIO-Diesel! Told to me from the dealer!

Bio diesel clogs up fuel rails and injectors. Since it is a fuel issue, not covered under warranty!

:simrak:

I don't run that crap anyways, but just thought I would let others know.
