'Five people presumed dead after military aircraft carrying nuclear material' crashes in California. Glamis

Let me guess...... The left/biden/govt will say the area is radioactive and un-safe for humans.  Glamis closed until further notice......  They did it with asbestos at Clear Creek when I used to race enduros........

Maybe the Osprey wasn't the best choice of aircraft to carry radioactive material......  Just sayin'.......

RIP to the Marines  :(

One of the Marines was a 21 year old local kid from here in the Rockford area. RIP soldiers.

RIP Marines. Sad for the families. Peace

So very sad, being in the USCG stationed in Hi. in the late 80's, searching for a downed military helicopter was a much too frequent call. The osprey may have had some radioactive material in the rotors to detect cracks but nukes on a training mission.. Highly doubt it.. RIP Heros.

Osprey still in recent news, being grounded for time being as clutching issues are being looked at.

They were testing a developing the osprey when i was a kid. They used to test them just east of glamis out in milpitas wash and surrounding area south of palo verde. Was pretty cool to watch. Friend had property out there and they were always using it for desert landing/take off practice

We're contracted with Bell Helicopter to handle all their doors. Plant #6 in Arlington, TX is the plant that builds them. Pretty awesome looking bird. When they tie those bad boys down to the concrete pad and turn them blades full throttle is impressive! Peace
