Riverside county doesn’t play. I threw every jury duty letter in the trash for years San Diego and San Bernardino. Fast forward to my mid 40s and living in riverside county. Boom bench warrant after 2yrs of being in riverside county.

What ended up happening ? How did they prove you received them in the mail ?
 
Mine was hand delivered by 2 OC Sherrifs at my house 20+ years ago. I answered, they asked if I was Erik, I said yes. They asked if I had received a jury summons in the past. I said yes. They asked what I did with them. I said in the trash. They both smiled and said thanks for your honesty now report to Jury duty.

The rest is history.

A buddy and his girl along another couple were on vacation in Socal. The girls decide go off for a walk down the boardwalk. The guys grab a couple of bikes and go for a ride. Later that afternoon they find the girls miles down the beach. So they allow the girls to jump on the handlebars to give them a ride back. Well they got tickets for riding double. Once home they cannot find the tickets, can't even remember what city they actually were in when they got the tickets.

Fast forward three years or so and he is heading to his moms house who lives in a gated community. She isn't at home so he parks outside the gate and waits for her to get home or somebody to open the gate, When the Cops roll up on him and make contact. He explains what is going on and the cop was just about to drive off, when he runs his ID.

Yep he spent just over 24 hours in jail for that.
