Don Parscale - OCTOBER 22, 1938 – NOVEMBER 11, 2023

It seems like he built everything himself from buggy to trailer.  A real "Built not Bought" kinda guy.  RIP fellow duner
Like his sand car. Bought the frame as a kit car and built it with his son.

So sad to read this.  Don was an amazing human being.  I had the pleasure of camping with him and his wife a few times.

Don, I hope you and Jeff are building cars, racing and riding away up in the sky!

Always enjoyed his trip reports from Utah. He certainly lived life to the fullest and was a very knowledgeable guy. First class fabricator and builder.

RIP Don,  many years reading your posts. You will be missed.

What a bummer. Truly an awesome dude.

He gave me great advice when I was building my car.

I had the pleasure of dunning with him and his son a few times.

Rip Don..

Damn I knew Don and his wife for close to 20yrs was a great guy R.I.P.

RIP Fellow Duner! Wish I could have met you. Peace

RIP Don.  I never knew him.  So unfortunate that us OG's grew up when cigarettes were healthy and sunblock was a waste.  I read that most of us who grew up in the 60's and 70's got most of our sun damage before we were 8 years old.  Never too late to start wearing zinc - especially on nose, ears, back of neck, etc........

I'm sure the supermarket clerk smirks as I buy zinc sunblock after spending 20 years tanning with baby oil on....... :/

PSA: I buy long sleeve SPF50 shirts on amazon for like $22. that are so light that they are more comfortable than going shirtless.  Bonus if you get the 'hoodie' that protects the back of your neck.....

Amazon.com: Willit Men's UPF 50+ Sun Protection Hoodie Shirt Long Sleeve Rash Guard Fishing SPF Outdoor UV Shirt Lightweight Blue L : Sports & Outdoors
