It doesn't really matter if it is Chromoly or DOM, or Mild.  What matters is whether or not it is double sheared!!

Strength will become irrelevant in double sheared applications.  Convince me I'm wrong.....

I do know that anything not double sheared will result in front end explosion... Our Can-Am exploded in the garage because I didn't upgrade the front upper mounts.
