I have a Lowrance in my car. Sometimes I use it, most the time I don't. The car came with it otherwise I wouldn't have one.
Are they beneficial? Yes. I will say using it makes me weak! I know where I'm going but relying on the GPS makes me focus more on it rather than just having fun duning.
I'm not a tech guy by any means and I hate having to learn and relearn how to use it. Mine is a bit older so it's more analog in how things get programmed and used. If it was like a smart phone, I'd use it more but I'm not going to dump more money into my car right now.
