Who is interested in a Monster Manx MX2 project?
I picked this up a few months ago and just have not had time to work on it.
2005 Dejong Monster Manx MX2
Full tig welded Chromolly Frame with Tig Welded Boxed arms front and rear
Full Bypass front and read
2" Hollow front spindles
Rear swaybar
383 stroker LS1/6
Fresh Mendeola 2D with new clutch (0 trips)
Flame out fire suppression system.
I have new material to line all the aluminum panels, but needs to be installed.
This was Vinces first race car before he built the class 1 car.
It was purchased by a rather tall individual (6' 6") and modified to fit him.
The seat will have to be re positioned for a shorter driver. I am 5' 11" and I can barely touch the pedals.
I made a body for it, but it still need to be installed, all the tabs are already there.
The car is tabbed for rear seats, but has never had any rear seat bolted in. I am a dealer for PRP, and can get a discount on new ones.
The car rolled at the dunes and cracked the fenders, so the old owner cut them off. Aside from some light scuffing, there is now frame damage.
The car runs and drives good. I have hot lapped it around my parking lot. It would need a good going thru to really check all the boxes though.
I have dirt tires and 17" sand tires for it as well. The car is CA titled, but looks like the tags will need to be brought up to date.
I will take $42,000 for the car the way it sits. No less. If I finish it out and do everything, it will go on the market for mid $50's before the next season.
