6.7 HO but they are trying to screw me on the trade in of my 2022Expensive day! What truck did you get? Diesel or gas?
Just sell it yourself...with the used market being what it is, it would be their loss.6.7 HO but they are trying to screw me on the trade in of my 2022
Rarely.. unless you go outta stateI’m new truck shopping. Is anyone getting less than msrp on the ones on the lot?
Ya I can get one for 1000 under msrp and an 8% interest rate. But with 2024s coming out I’m not paying extra or full price on a 23. I’m also kicking around the gmc at4 but not sure I’m ready to make that kind of change in my life.If you are financing, some will sell for MSRP, but then they are jacking up the interest rate big time.
Finance it for the discount and pay it off on first payment.Ya I can get one for 1000 under msrp and an 8% interest rate. But with 2024s coming out I’m not paying extra or full price on a 23. I’m also kicking around the gmc at4 but not sure I’m ready to make that kind of change in my life.
I've done this a few times. Just gotta make sure there is no penalty for early payoff, which I think is rare. Credit Union rates are usually the best rates.Finance it for the discount and pay it off on first payment.
Think that is illegal and they can't do it.Just gotta make sure there is no penalty for early payoff
If you’re willing to travel and looking for a truck sooner, there is McClane Ford in Texas. They have quite a few on the lot and sell at invoice.I just went through the ordering process with that dealership in Iowa. Almost too good of a deal to pass up. Just have to wait the 6-9 months. Or possible longer due to this strike. I will decide on Monday if I can’t find someone willing to deal on one this weekend.
Ya I’m in the same boat. I can buy a 23 today that’s missing a few things I want for the same price I can order a 24. But the 24 is 6-9 months out. And with this strike could be even more. I may try to haggle a bit more on this 23. If you don’t mind could you tell me what you paid and what package level you got.I just bought a new 23 Super duty. I was going to order one but the dealer had no idea when that might show up.
They had a special order truck that the guy backed out on the evening before I showed up.
I ended up getting that truck. It's the first time I've ever paid MSRP.
The best I could negotiate was free Line X, window tint and door edges. Then I got the Ford premium care warranty for about 800.00 off list price.
The worst part is after looking around that wad the best deal I could get.
Buying a truck is very different right now.

I got a platinum and paid full MSRP.Ya I’m in the same boat. I can buy a 23 today that’s missing a few things I want for the same price I can order a 24. But the 24 is 6-9 months out. Now wait and see if Ford sends you a coupon that can be used as cash on any new purchase. They did this to me for 2000.00. Took it in and the dealer accepted it. Saved me 2k.Update...finally pulled the trigger on a custom build. Granger Ford in Iowa had the best price (invoice minus 2%) but before I send them $1000 deposit, I wanted to see what local dealers would do. I ended up ordering from Aaron Ford in Escondido. They are selling me the truck at invoice which is about $1400 more than Granger but I figure I'll be spending about $1000 picking it up. I also like the idea of not putting an extra1500 miles on the truck.
