I've been thinking about ordering an F250. Anyone have experience with this? How long did you wait? Can't believe the price of these things now. $70k for a Lariat FX4 with the 7.3L!

When did you order your last truck that took 3 months? That timeline is encouraging.I've done my last 3 with ford this way. Do the build on line and get the price sheet. Send it to a handful of dealers in and around you and let them bid it. I saved a ton on mine. It took 3 months for truck to arrive.
Thanks! Yea, I've been hearing about this potential strike. That would screw up prices and timeline I'd imagine.Got my '23 June 1st. Ordered October 28th. '23 order banks are closed so you would be ordering a '24. Grainger Ford in Iowa is offering 2% under invoice on new '24 super duties. https://www.fordtremor.com/forums/ford-tremor-purchasing.6/ Hopefully that link works. You would obviously have to make arrangements to get the truck but you could order now and not have to wait until x-plan kicks in. And they price hold. I don't think 3 months is a realistic timeline anymore. There is also talks of a strike so that could have a huge impact.
Dumb question but I don't know so Eff it...MSRP and Invoice are different?Got my '23 June 1st. Ordered October 28th. '23 order banks are closed so you would be ordering a '24. Invoice could be as much as 5000 below MSRP.Dumb question but I don't know so Eff it...MSRP and Invoice are different?
Invoice is what the dealer paid for it. Kind of but not really.Dumb question but I don't know so Eff it...MSRP and Invoice are different?
Same here, except $54k MSRP (F-150) and price was $45k.All of the orders took 3 months. Last one was in '19. While waiting for truck to arrive I also got in the mail a coupon from Ford for an additional 2000.00 to be used for any new product purchase. I took this in at close and they accepted it so basically I save another 2k. Truck window sticker came in at 65640.00. Ended up at 56500 agreed price prior to ordering, and then another 2k off. This was before tax and fees.
Granger just came back with their quote and it might be worth the drive. MSRP on the Lariat 7.3 that I built is $68,610. Invoice is $65,338, sell price is $64,006.I would be interested as well. Wish they were closer but depending on price may be worth the airfare, fuel and hotel to go get it.
You might just for kicks try Dee Westling, internet sales Holmes Tuttle Ford in Tucson. 520-292-3600. dwestling@htford.comGranger just came back with their quote and it might be worth the drive. MSRP on the Lariat 7.3 that I built is $68,610. Invoice is $65,338, sell price is $64,006.
