If it's 180hp, I assume this thing is super light.  In the sand, I wouldn't worry about either wheel type.  I think you're overthinking this.

I still think it'd be fine. :biggrin:

I only lost 1 wheel in 16 years with a similar weight/power (just under 300whp) buggy: smashed into a kiddy track.  Wheel taco'd but didn't break.
