Shopping with Mom last Saturday we were at Target. This was in the lot.  I believe this is a 56??

That is bitchen.  Rear tire is a bit big for my liking, but to each his own!!

one of the coolest cars there was the Datsun p/u truck with the new motor & trans in it.  if the hood was closed you would not have any idea...  the motor is kind of oddly packaged, it kind of looks like its out of a FWD vehicle so they did not care about the intake location being odd. 

I ran into a guy I used to work with 7 years ago.  super cool catching up with him.  He had his Ranchero parked right in the middle of the VeeWee's (He's part of their club).

Yesterday, I drove over to Santa Paula for a car show. (Yes, On A Friday)

Every summer they shut the town down, and here come the car clubs. After some coffee, I'll post some pix.

I'd be curious to know what you thought of the participation...  we have weekly and monthly (and a few annual) shows in SD, and they have all dwindled in comparison to 10 or 15 years ago...

The City Shuts Down 10 blocks, 5 East  West, and 5 North South. This is an Ag area with many migrant workers and the all have bitchen cars. Add in the old white guys with paychecks, it was quite the show. I really liked the VW group. All in All, a day well spent.
